General Use – Conrad Thermal Blankets Directions for Use

Use – ConRad Thermal Blankets were designed to maintain normothermia during Preop Prep, Surgery, Endoscopy, Imaging (Xray, CT) and Postop Recovery. They act as a barrier to the 3 mechanisms of heat loss; Conduction, Convection and Radiation.

Simple to Use:

 - Simply place the Conrad Thermal Blanket over the patient with the Patient Side label next to the patient and cover the patient as completely as possible.
 - To maximize heat retention, lay the patient on a second Conrad Thermal Blanket, Patient Side up

 


Use with warming devices and patient positioners:


- The ConRad Thermal Blankets can be used with any active warming device to maximize patient warming.
- The Conrad Thermal Blankets compliment the HUG-U-VAC patient positioner
